5w20 Pennzoil oil by mistake ?

    Hey guys, I put 5w20 Pennzoil synthetic in my 06 4.0l Tacoma TRD, instead of the 5w30 synthetic I usually use , will it hurt the engine ?It has 120 kilometers on it . Thanks

    It will be fine. I would just change it back when you can. Otherwise change it back on your next oil change.

    I actually use 5w20 synthetic. I did on my last truck too. I'm in a pretty mild climate - never gets too cold or too hot and you should get better mileage out of a thinner oil.
