2005 2.7 Base model tacoma access cab exhaust help!

    I plan on getting the
    $216 Dynomax 39447 Exhaust System Kit for Toyota Tacoma
    Dynomax 39447 cat back system exhaust. I was wondering if it will fit as it is made for the 4.0 or so it says and what performance gains will I see with possibly new headers and an intake system. My number one question is will it fit? I heard you have to cut the straight pipe or something in that nature? Help me!

    Also any reviews on the Dynomax exhaust system?

    You can make anything fit if you can cut and weld.

    And the performance gain will be minimal. 5-10 tops?

    I already have the LC Engineering header which was a nice improvement so I wanted to know how the header would sound with the header. The searching Ive done makes me think the 4.0 and 2.7 use the same exhaust from the cat back.

    I've also considered this for my 2.7. What I've noticed is that the flanges and gaskets for the catbacks are slightly different between the 2.7 and the 4.0. I did see where someone on a different site installed the Dynonax system on a 2.7, I messaged him, but never received a reply.

    I did a search and pretty confident it will bolt up. I ordered the system and will confirm.

    I can confirm the dynomax exhaust does work with the 2.7. I ended up putting on a Quiet flow muffler. I found the Dynomax muffler too load for my taste.

    The flange holes on the Dynomax system are a little wider bit I slightly ovaled out the holes and it bolts on without issue. The Dynomax comes with a new gasket which is a perfect fit. The 4.0 and 2.7 use the same diameter pipe and the same style of gasket.
