Cluster problems, and check engine light on

    anyone ever have theyre speedometer stop working out of the blue? i drive my truck everyday. then yesterday all of a sudden, my blinkers,speedometer,turn signals and reverse lights stopped working. also the fuel gage goes on a off and the back up camera comes on now when i hit the brakes (not in reverse) i could be driving down the road doing 50 ,hit the brakes, and the damn camera comes on.. im thinking fuse problem,grounds,or computer? anybody have similar problems? also check engine light and airbag light dont go off in the dashboard

    2009 taco access cab . its only got 124,000 miles

    But check your wiring. I'm sure something might have just came loose

    First verify all the fuses; then look for loose ground straps. Any mods to the truck/wiring?

    If you have installed a new stereo I would be willing to bet you tied into the harness where you shouldn't have, or a connector did not get resecured, or a ground was accidentally disturbed. Those are the most common issues with random "weird sh!t" happening after a part/component gets replaced.

    thanks for the replys guys. sorry i havent been on here in 6 months. it was a 7 dollhair fuse. couldnt figure it out myself and i use the truck for work so i needed a quick fix. ended up spending 137.oo at the stealership.. learned a lesson .

    Usually a blown fuse indicates a problem somewhere else though. You may want to double check the circuit that the blown fuse is associated with.
