The dealer I had my TSB springs put on at a couple weeks ago had 5 OR's on the lot along with a few SR5's and sports. They had probably 12 or so 6 lugs in different combos. I know at least 3 of the OR's were 4x4. I remember because all three were in colors I don't see often, Pyrite Mica, Spruce Mica, and Blue Ribbon Metallic.

he can definitely have more than one truck. LOL Mods are at $10084 and going ...
From the Northeast seaboard I hail to report the same. I had to order from factory my 2014 TRD Off Road DBLCB short bed in Spruce Mica. After a month I had a big grin :D on my ugly face. The date of my life was finally in my arms. I am still hugging her every day while showering it with functional mods. I can't wait for the hunting season to open now that the tailgate is reinforced and tested by my 260 lbs of awesomeness jumping on it.

Similar story here. I had very specific requirements (MGM manual TRD Off-Road). Not a single one existed on the east coast. Dealer tried to convince me to go with another color and an automatic, but I wouldn't budge. Told me it would take up to 12 weeks for a custom order...I was in no rush, so that's what I did. 7 weeks later I was sittin' pretty in my new truck :)

That was pretty much my situation and experience. Wanted MGM manual DC OR and stealership tried his best to unloading a red sport and was not very supportive of a custom order. Ended up building it through the Costco vehicle program, being referred to a different dealer and getting my rig after several weeks...

I had very specific request for my new truck, grey or white, four doors, had to be manual and had to be the OR package. Somehow by the grace of god, our local California dealership had the exact one in stock. I was told it was the only one on the west coast. So I can see how it seems like there is a shortage.

A colleague at work approached me about my OR - he's thinking about getting a 2014 OR, but having a very hard time finding one at all the local dealers. He said he even tried to build on on Toyota.com and it wouldn't let him build an OR package. Thought I read something on here recently about Toyota not producing any more ORs this year. That sucks, my buddy may be waiting till the fall if he wants an OR that bad! :(

Yeah, I'll have to sit with him today and see what he's doing wrong. I think we'll start by signing him up for a TW account!

Mountain States Toyota had them on the ground last week.

Buy and have it shipped. Fly out there, road trip back!

Mine was 1 of 8 in the southeast in the color combo I wanted. Had to wait for it to be delivered.

But they had 2 more on the lots. Prerunners though.
