So i was kinda going for the blacked out look on my truck and wanted to try this stuff. Do any of you guys have any experience with the Laminex Films or possibly a pic of your truck with them installed? They seem to have pretty good reviews on Amazon but thought i would see what you guys thought. Is the install a pain?

    Some stuff...
I used it on my last vehicle (rear tails). If there are a lot of contours, it can be a pain to get to conform (heat gun or hair dryer). But it holds up well, that same film is still on the vehicle 9 years later!

Did it come with Lamin-X film also or did you just come in here looking for a cookie or sticker or something?

    I bounce it offa stuff.
Holy crap meant to click on what have you done to your taco today. Never used the film myself but a guy at work said he had trouble with film flaking over time and he recommended the spray.

    ^ Hahaha wow.

Anyways I would recommend universal sheets for the headlights and tail lights. Pre cut for fogs. The Tacoma headlights and tail lights are very difficult to install. They do have installers which I would keep in mind..

Get some pre cut fogs at first and give those a try and it will help you get some experience with the film. Moving to the tail lights and headlights will be another story. I have my tails, brake light, and fogs. Also the blinkers on my mirrors done. The 12 & up headlights I have not..

Cool, sounds like a plan. I'll work my way up if I feel like I can. I'll post pics afterwards. That is if I don't totally screw it up...
