    Hello TacomaWorld
So my Dad and I are big Toyota fan boys since I can remember, my dad used to have an old 1991 tacoma truck when I was just a little kid that truck is the biggest reason why I don't like other brands it was sold to a cousin many years ago and few days back he let us know the little monster is still alive! 490k miles on it (same motor!) … after that dad bought a T-100 that I eventually received as a gift (best gift ever) the old man get a brand new 2004 tundra .. so long story short one day we both went to the dealer to get some TRD parts in order to modify the new truck, we walk into the place and we see a big red poster of a new truck “2005 Toyota Tacoma” we both look each other and say the same thing “We are getting that beast” … the Tundra was just to new to just changed it for an unproved new model so time past I went to University college and Dad priorities change.
I eventually sold the T-100 to get a better gas milage 2001 Toyota tacoma and Dad keep the tundra for many years … until the fall of 2013 when both call each other and decide it was time to finally get the truck we both want since 2005 we also said we wont keep it original since they are so many on the streets that we need to make sure our trucks were unique (at least try) so surfing on the web I found this site and was amazingly surprise for all responses every little question I had the answer was here so thank you to everyone for sharing the knowledge.

As usual the old man always get the newest model! Before I show you pictures one thing to consider is that we live in TJ, Mexico so tacoma’s here are restricted to just double cab 4x2 or 4x4 and only 5 colors nothing more! Here their is NO - TX pro or Limited or access cab nothing :( thankfully we live right across the US and are able to get everything we need.

    Nice trucks!

I thought Mexico got the Hi-Lux instead of the Tacoma. Or do they sell both down there?
