Scored a couple damaged front doors off a 2011 tacoma from work and was thinking about making some half doors for my truck. ive been searching but havent found anyone thats made any for the 05+ tacomas.

anyone on here made a set?

4xinnovations tube doors did cross my mind but i do like having the lower part of the door sealed to keep the interior somewhat clean.

Sounds like a sweet idea! If you do your own body work, I say chop the door below the window level, do your thing and post up the finished product. That would be sweet, half oem style doors!

as long as you don't mind leaving your truck open and unlocked go for it.

oh and don't forget the rain...

My buddy made his own half doors for his 85 and they are OK. Was in a 2nd gen a few weekends ago that had tube doors and it's cool. Not cool enough for me to do it, but cool. I like keeping my stuff locked up and weather tight.

Not sure about your state but tube and half doors draw the attention of the fuzz even if they are totally legal so as long as you don't mind attention I say go for it.

I was just talking about tube or half doors on my 2011 the other day. I would be interested in seeing how this works out
