2005 offroad. Does anyone know which wire is the power wire on the rear actuator and is there a rebuild thread for it? Ive searched for 2 days but cant find anything. Motor isnt turning when i push the button, fuse is good, so want to check power before removing it. Thanks!

I have to ask the obvious question since there wasn't a lot of detail. You do have it in 4lo when testing this right?

Yes its in 4lo. Drove it around in the field in s pattern to try to get to engage as well. Nothing. Indicator just keeps flashing.

if it has never been used it may be stuck. when my 4runner was new off the lot locker would not engage unless I tried this crap for about 20 times. when they are new they are fussy, and if that one has never been used at all, it will be extra fussy. after about a year of using it weekly it started to engage all the time right away or with 1/4 axle rotation

creep forward and back very slow, like 1mph, ten feet, reverse, cut wheel, try again really slow. make C-shaped turns, and keep trying...slowly

if it is going to work it will eventually -clank-

but if it still never does... time to poke at it

No power at plug. Any other fuses go to it other than 4wd one?

I removed the actuator and jumped it to make sure it even worked. No go. Will just put this on the back burner till later

Edit. Ignore that. My batteries were low. Changed em and the motor does turn. So it's the power going to the actuator
