Still trying to get the wire terminals I need to add the wires for my 2009 Tacoma cruise control. I have seen a post that recommended TE Connectivity, and I got to there site, but it looks like you must register etc. has anyone here used them for a small quantity order? Or, have suggestions on how to Break the Code on Toyota wire terminal sources? My dealer charges $18 for a single terminal with a pigtail attached. I would need about 6 of them !

Wow, thanks for the Ref/link back. Interesting thread, and recent too! He is obviously more electrical than some of us, and certainly MUCH more expert at posting instructions. Interesting that the string of terminals he got are the 1 p/n I need of 2 different numbers. I did try exactly what he mentioned in his post, to ask for a sample. In my case, none were available. The distributors in CA all have this high Minimum order limit. Not anxious to help given the ZERO profit margin. Guess I can't blame them.
Wonder if he has any leftovers ??? May try a PM later.

An amazing experience, I guess I'm just not expecting anyone to go outside the box anymore, and this was certainly an exception :D
After a couple of weeks looking for a way to get "connected" with wire terminals, and coming to the point of boarder line stupidity,.....cut open junk yard parts? :der:
TE Support registers on the site, solely to post some help! Amazing! :)
Called their Rep as directed, Eastern time, gave a short story about this site, and TE Support's post, I tell him minimum quantity, no gain to the Company, and he said "I think I can help,.... I have 1 P/N, don't have the 2nd, but let me look for a way to cross the 2nd P/N, I'll call you back. Remember, this is a no gain to the company deal,..:bored:... HE DOES! He has no stock on the alternate P/N, but gives me the WWW.OnLineComponents.com info, and confirms they have them in stock. He will send me 10 each of the 1 P/N as a sample! I thank him too many times I'm sure.
I call the OnLine source, they have them, I don't need to be a business, and I order the parts! They do have a minimum order, so I buy enough, and it is reasonable!
I'm afraid to leave the house now..... It's Friday the 13th, and I am afraid I have used up ALL my luck! Thanks to the site!
