Because I worry constantly, I was just thinking, how does my new lift affect my insurance coverage if I am ever in an accident? Granted they won't know I have it on until the adjuster would come look at my truck. But to everyones knowledge, can they deny me coverage?

First month of ownership... This month I'm removing front air dam, and also Rhino lining the bed.
Actually it does matter. For full-coverage you'd need a rider to cover the cost of the upgrades. I you are in an accident without one your insurance will only cover the stock truck. Upgrades are usually very limited, perhaps $250, without a rider.

Now, if you are hit ( not your fault) the other insurance has to cover everything.

If he is talking about them covering his suspension.. If he is only talking about them covering his truck then no.. it doesn't matter

Ask someone from your insurance company how much in accessories your policy covers and go from there man.

It's going to vary by state.
Some states actually have more strict laws than California WRT suspension modifications, and insurance companies will sometimes deny coverage if the vehicle has been illegally modified.

This does not apply in California, just make sure you buy supplemental coverage to pay for the mods.

I don't really care about insuring my mods, just my truck itself. Thanks for the responses!!
