Did you click the link? Is that the same lift you purchased, just without the drop?

Now I am back to scratching my head about the settings. I was planning on putting that lift with the front set at 2.5, with the AAL and new rear shocks. Now I don't know if that is going to make the front higher than the back.

I have done the spring compressor and LCA methods. i do think the LCA method is safe and it sure as hell is much easier. Good luck and pics!

the springs are going to give you 1.6'' of lift set at 0 if you look on the same page that you copied the link from it will tell you about i think it says set the billies at .85 and NOT HIGHER with the new springs with a 2'' aal will get you the 2.5'' lift you are looking for

I watched the video because I was contemplating doing the lift myself. It looks pretty easy to do, and safe.

I have this setup. Took the shocks and coils to a goodyear place and they assembled them with a wall mount compressor off the books for $20. And for the AAL, get 2 heavy duty C-clamps. Put them on both sides of the U-bolt. Tighten them down, unbolt the U-bolts and perch. Once unbolted, loosen the C-clamps enough to where you can slide the AAL in and tighten it all back up. I did this on one side and it took 20 minutes. The other side I removed the entire leaf pack and it took about 2 hours along with using every muscle in my body to compress it back enough to have my buddy bolt it back in. DO NOT do that method unless you are an avid weighlifter and feel like taking on the challenge, lol. After a buddy showed me the C-clamp method, I was pissed cause it only took 20 minutes and and would have made the other side quicker and WAY easier.

Thanks, man. Sadly, the build is put on hold cause my daughter was just born. Before my wife and I found out we were expecting I had money saved up for a mid-travel suspension and glassworks 4" front fenders and rear bedsides but all of that stayed savings. However, I did take out enough to build an AR, lol. Right now though, I'm just gonna do some small interior mods like hydro-dipping my window switch bezels, shifter bezel, and radio surround in a carbon fiber pattern.

I am new to the site, but I saw the thread with the carbon fiber on the bezel. That looks sweet and is definitely on my list of mods for the future.

Yeah, I have some 3m carbon fiber wrap but it's too much of a bitch and I don't have the patience, lol. I may give it another try, though. This site though has a ton of DIY's and info on almost everything there is made for our trucks so it is great, but you can constantly find things to add to your mod list every day.

i can tell you that the jack for a spring compressor works good but i could not set the shock at .85 and compress it with the new eibachs tryed and tryed could not do it so had to set them at zero and put the spacer at top that came with the lift all i have left is the aal and i should have pics tomorrow for ya
