    Hello all,
I have looked around but can't seem to find any definitive answers on this. What lift do your get at the various settings for the 5100s?
I see mentioned a lot "0.85, 1.75 and 2.5"...how do these relate to the rings on the shock body and actual lift?

If I want to lift my truck 2.5" what ring would I use?

    Thanks

Thanks Chris. Can I do the 2.5 and still add the 1/4" spacer on the driver's side to correct the Taco lean?

You can, but you will be getting close to the point (usually 3") at which you will most likely need UCA's to get proper alignment. Are you using stock coils?

They are the advertised lift heights by Bilstein, and you are correct.

Except that, stock, it leans. So if both 5100s are set at the same setting you would need the spacer to level it (side to side) right?

^^^^ yup. I had 5100's at 2.5 with stock coils and I can personally attest to the rough ride.

yup, its a half dollar size paint dot on each coil and each side is a different color corresponding to driver vs pass.

I tossed my stockers yrs ago since they are offroads, so I cant provide a pic.

Simple math Bro, ome 885 gives you 2.5, if you set your bilsteins to .85 and also add 1/4" (.25") then you your at 3.6".

Not so simple if I recall. Don't the 5100s compress the spring? So you won't get the full 2.5.

They compress (preload) the spring so you do get .85", 1.75", or 2.5".

Good GOD don't do this^^!! LOL Just do 885s billies at 0 ~ 2.6" lift maybe add a 1/4" spacer or 1/2 to that and that's all you should do. I am doing this Sunday. :)

Mine should be here tomorrow I've been looking and I've got four billies coming and top plate spacers and coils so I've come to the decision .85 and top plate and new coils should have me at or close 3"
