    Morning Guys,

I have noticed a slight noise on both my rear doors. Sounds to me like the weather stripping is rubbing agents the door jam but I cant be sure. I cleaned the jams and wiped down the moldings but the noise is still there. Not a huge deal, just annoying at times.

    Anyone else had these issues?

    Thanks,

    Alex

had it too, I got some rub-on silicon gel from NAPA for $6 before the winter I put a good amount on and it stopped it. It was right in my ear and sounded like the seat belt first but when I pushed against the door it would stop.

BTW I put it on top of both rubbers and behind (as far as I could get with my fingers) the rubber and actual metal

EXACTLY what I thought at first too. Thanks for the tip, I'll give it a shot

Did you use anything special when you wiped em down? I did the same with a hand towel (no cleaner) and I didn't notice a difference. Maybe I'll have to try harder

    Thanks guys!

i wiped down all surfaces of the rubber as well as the body itself to get the dust off.

It seemed to me that the seals were slip-sticking due to the small amount of dust, wiping them off made them to where the stick and dont move the small amounts. If it continues for me ill go get some silicone gell or something of the like so things can slide easy.

the proplem is they are sticking together and then release a little when going over a bump (even a small bump) which sounds like rattling, so I put the silicion on top and behind as good as possible, just a thin layer will do
