    Hey all,

Just brought home my new 2014 DCSB Off Road Sport, paid 32500 with the off road package, tow package, weather mats, spare and tire locks. another 1500 for the warranty 8 years 75000miles.

    Questions:

The steering wheel is tilted to the right but the steering seems fine, anybody else have a poorly aligned stering wheel?

the sound system is the entune plus, the volume sucks, anybody have shit sound? would I be able to put in a seprate amp for the speakers to boost sound output?

I put mp3 music and put it in the usb slot, nothing happens, any ideas?

Anything I should know about being a new owner?

    THANK YOU ALL!!!

What player are you using, it will recognize most ipods/android phones, may be a player issue?

Base stereo setup is marginal at best. You willl have to upgrade if you want some decent sound. Maybe throw an amp on and swap out speakers. A ton of write ups on here from guys who know their stuff.

Not sure about the steering wheel tilt though.

One easy mod right off the bat is to buy a bedmat, best 100 bucks I spent. Stops things from sliding around while in the bed.

    Enjoy the truck !

Usually just swapping out the speakers makes a big improvement.

I would make an appointment with the dealer to get the steering wheel realigned.

Was your Taco made in Mexico? My 2014 DCSB is from the Mexican plant and it also showed up slightly out of alignment. Dealer fixed it under warranty.

I personally am very pleased with the sound, but I came from a bare bones 2004 Frontier.

News to me. You'd think this would be caught in the dealer's pre-delivery inspection. But yea, bring it back to the dealer for correction.

THank you all for your reply,

I had a 2011 jeep liberty, I replaced the factory head unit, which wasent so bad on sound, and replaced with a pioneer head and I never raised the sound pase 2/3 and that was loud. on the Tacoma the sound is maxed out and I can still talk no problem to the other passengers, not good. I am going to swap out speakers and add a amp for the interiors, no cash for sub for now.

any idea on the usb stick with music?

    thanks
