tire rub

    westin 3inch running bars and full grill guard ready lift 3.inch leveling kit
    just got some new 285/15/16 pro comp mt tires on my trk and i had some rubbing while backing up and turning . they were rubbing on the little mud flap on the frnt of the frnt tire . my question is i removed the little flaps should i trim them a couple inches and put back on or just leave them off .not sure if there is some kind of performance hit thx

    Just pull off the air dams. Two 10mm bolts per side and you're done. If it still rubs you can trim/ remove the mud flaps. If the rubbing persists, a CMC could be in your future. It all depends.

    I'm assuming you mean 285/75/16? I just put the same size tire on and yeah that little front mud flap catches when turning in reverse but no where else.

    yes, took those little like 4-5 inch mudflaps off the front and am leaving them off. In reverse at full lock it would rub

    I also removed all the normal mud flaps (behind the wheel) a year ago
