Just as good? I suppose it depends on the purpose. I watched the show where they tried to take them down to the south pole on the Smithsonian Channel (or Discovery). They are purpose built trucks designed for one thing. Up here in the states they would be just for showing off. They have extensive mods that I have no doubt cost a ungodly amount of money and labor but like someone else said... mods very rarely pay off.

I personally think the truck is cool... but it's like having a 3' dick. Once you get the first foot in... what do you do with the other 2'?

I'd buy it if I had won the lottery. And on a side note the gas tank on this thing warrants the rake.

I've added up mods and original cost on a lot of trucks I've seen on here and some people's rigs are easily pushing $80,000 - $90,000 in truck cost plus parts (that's in CDN$ though), let alone if they've paid to have any of the installs completed.

Really?? What costs so much about them?

I hear the MOST people paying here being 33K out the door, most being a few K less. And that is brand spanking new, I'm talking about buying a used Tacoma and equipping it like that for much less than 40K. Take an 07 or 08 or somewhere around that year 4x4 and add all that stuff and I think it could be done for less than 40?
