Security Light

So i dropped my keys in the grass while i was mowing the lawn and ended up shredding the chip in my key so my truck wouldn't start. So i towed it to toyota and had them make a new key and they were supposed to reprogram or replace the immobilizer to work with the new key. When i got the truck back my security light doesn't go off it just keeps blinking while the truck is on. So my question is why is the light on, did they just disable the immobilizer and not do what they were supposed to do?

 

Those are probably questions only the dealer can answer.

I'd bring it back and have them complete the job you paid for.
