Anybody have any ideas on a way to lock up an Axe using the quickfist mount? Only idea so far is to zip tie it but that still is t a great anti theft protection idea.

an axle? like an axle housing, axle shaft or a cv axle?

I will assume you are talking about a cv axle. Instead of having it strapped inside the bed...invest in a large heavy duty tote or pelican case for all of your tools and spare parts when off roading. that way when its time to go you throw the whole case/tote in the bed and you are all packed in that department.

Nvm just saw this and I think it will be awesome to use. Just slide through the axe handle into one of the many rail holes... So if anyone else needs help I'm gonna buy this and update this thread once I get it.

How about one of those small cable locks you get like when you buy a shot gun? You could go through the hole in the end of the handle.

Check your local hunting/fishing store. A lot of times you'll find them giving those things away for free to promote gun safety.

If you do that, you'll want to keep that thing soaked with a lube/rust preventer or something, I doubt those locks are designed to be left out in the elements. When you need that axe, you're not going to have time to mess around with a jammed lock.
