I've had the URD short throw shifter for about 25,000 miles now with no problems. I like it. Besides making the throws shorter, it gives a crisper, "tighter" feel than stock.

I'd also like to hear opinions on other clutches. I still have the stock one.

It's hard to slowly put it in reverse. The resistance is too great. But for some reason it's really easy if you just flick it over there quickly. I'm so used to doing that now it's not an issue.

I think the URD shifter brings it down to where it should be stock, minus the difficulty selecting reverse. But like the previous poster said, momentum will get it there with ease.
