This is super cool. Great for fishing or hunting. The price seems pretty fair. I will have to put this on my list of mods

Just a pointer, if you purchase an item at retail and then mark it up you are offering an item to customers way above what someone can purchase the item on there own. Look into improving your business model to purchase items at or below wholesale so you can mark them up and still offer it at a decent price.

Anyone want to buy $10 rolls of toilet paper?

Just put a shower in the bed of my truck with a 7 gallon tank. This is a great idea and clean look but I did my 7 gallon for a good bit cheaper.

So why don't you do some R&D, marketing, and produce them for less if you could do it so much better?

Picking apart a start up openly like everyone is, lacks class. Send the company a PM if you really want to help them out. If you're here to jump on the trashing bandwagon just STFU.

this...and R&D. People need to stop being so cheap. Turns the market into shit products no one did any R&D on and are produced by child labor in third world countries. Ironically the same people tend to think others are "stealing their jobs".

    I'm thinking worse :D

Thanks for bringing your product here OP.

Out of curiosity, where do you think these parts the OP bought, then put together, came from?

Why don't you ask him if you're so interested in his product??

Using premium components would drive up the price.

Because I am not interested in producing this? It's a good idea though, maybe someone else will produce it cheaper.

Buying retail and then marking it up to sell to people just because you are a start up also lacks class. My posts are not trashing the product. The product is great. The price is absolutely ridiculous for what this has to offer.

Are *YOU* ready to pay $500 for this?

Then why not keep scrolling? You don't have to buy everything you come across, nor do you have to criticize the man who's already getting enough criticism.

I did not realize there is some kind of quota on criticizing things on this forum.

How is bashing a price in the BST against the COC but bashing this guy's price for his product is not ?

My fear is that I would forget to winterize it in time and blow the tank/pipes apart.

I'm certainly not bashing the OP's product as I didn't see it in action, but $500 is a little high for most folks of this site.

OP, you'd probably have better luck on ExpeditionPortal.com or Wanderthewest.com. They're more likely to recognize what goes into designing, test fitting and building as well as having more use for it.

It's a very neat idea and if you have high end components in the system I can see what the price comes from. For people who camp a lot or surf it's a great option and I applaud your idea and trying to bring it to market.

I'm asking you in reference to your post. I quote, "People need to stop being so cheap. Turns the market into shit products no one did any R&D on and are produced by child labor in third world countries."

I'm asking you, in reference to your quote, where do you think some of the items pieced together in this kit are from? I wouldn't consider something who's parts are from a third world country, yet assembled in the US, any different then if I bought the product straight from the third world country.
He's selling a product made up of already made products. He didn't mold the hose and tanks, or assemble the nozzle. So I don't see how third would countries are being bypassed. Child labor still had their part in this, no matter where the box that arrives at your house comes from.
