Dealer alarm disable horn rockledge

Just thought I'd give something back after all the great help I get here.

If you want to disable the extremely annoying horn that sounds when locking and unlocking the alarm system from some dealers that is manufactured by rockledge, do the following:

Turn on ignition
Turn off ignition
Press the button on the underside of the blue alarm led 3 times (you'll hear 2 horn beeps)

Your now good to go

 

Thanks for that Pack! I bought a 2007 a few months ago and have been trying to get rid of that damned beep. BTW I didn't get the 2 horn beeps and now the blue light is on but not flashing. Hopefully it will go off eventually, who knows?

 

Hey there - do you know if you can modify any of the other settings through entering the program mode? My rockleldge alarm auto locks the truck after 1 minute and it's a bit frustrating. I'm bound to lock myself out of it at some point. Thoughts?
