    Hey guys,

I'm at 54,000 on my 2007 TRD sport and am just wondering if there's any maintenance I could/should be looking into, I like to take care of my cars.

So far I have replaced the air filters, plugs, all fluids and just did the oil in both diff.s, transfer case and manual tranny. My brakes look ok and everything rides pretty well. I'm about to go on a cross country trip so would just like to do as much as I can before.

    Thanks!

Check BJ's, TRE's, and driver side CV axle bushing, along with greasing U-joints and I'm sure I'm missing some other things.

Did you replace the coolant? Greased all the U-joints on the front- and rear driveshafts?

U-joints are to be greased every 12 mo. / 10k in the books. U-joint failures will leave you stranded, so do it.

This...and be sure to not stop greasing until the grease you push out is new clean stuff. If the old grease smells burnt as it comes out you waited to long.

you also might want to clean your throttle body, not a exactly a "critical" maintenance task, especially at 54k.....but an easy DIY task nonetheless.

Sounds like you've done well with your maint. I wouldn't worry about flushing coolant yet. Maybe wait till 100k, thats the life of the Toyota extended life coolant. Like others have said, grease your u-joints at least every other oil change and they will last quite a long time. If you've done your trans, diffs, xfercase and engine, then your gold. I change my plugs every 35k with oem. Don't forget to rotate those tires!!

    Thanks a ton, guys.

So radiator is probably fine? Would there be any benefit to flushing it with just distilled water?

Don't leave out the power steering fluid change! PS fluid is the most ignored fluid in a vehicle....and yes it gets dirty.
I just did mine at 53,000 wish I would have done it at 40,000
This video shows exactly how to change out the fluid on your tacoma
Everything is the same accept you dont have to move the coolant jug
    I used valvoling dex/merc atf
