I found some TRD bronze beadlocks 2 hour drive away (one way). They come with rugged fails which have 15k miles on them. Come with lug nuts and tpms sensors. They are in decent shape, the rings have some scuffs. He is FIRM on $1000. So I figure after driving there and back $1080+ installation

I have stock off road wheels now with factory tires and about 50% tread. I could sell or keep these. I'm not really sure yet. I planned to lift before getting wheels/tires but I really dig these wheels.

My second option is to walk on this one and buy Konig Six Shooters after I lift the truck a bit.

    Thanks guys!

What's the installation charge for? You can't swap them on your truck?

Get them if those are the rims you like. Personally I prefer getting rims and picking the tires I like. Do you really want to drive around the next 3 years on the rugged fails? If not factor in having to swap on new tires

Wait til the dealers can sell the faux bead locks, they will probably be in the $200 each range brand new. Same thing happened with the anthracites & trail teams wheels.

    This

The TE37-clone styling is timeless and makes for a lightweight wheel at the same time.

How long do you think that'll take? I've got a buyer lined up for my stockers in the city I'm going to buy the new ones. So I'd have to pay a shop to swap them so I can sell the stocks while I am there. I really hate the rugged trails but they can work for now it's not that big of a deal for me.

I planned to eventually powder coat the wheels black and the rings mag blue

I am fairly confident you can buy the bronze beadlocks new for roughly the same price brand new.

Here's a set for $228/wheel. When I bought my black beadlocks they were about $100 to ship the set and then you need the TRD lugs (another $100) but that would at least get you a brand new set.
