So I just drove from Houston, Texas to Canmore, Alberta ( canada). Bought the truck in Houston in May then relocated back to Canada and with two dogs decided to drive up rather than ship the truck and fly the dogs. 2,300 miles in four days. Have to say very happy with the truck, mpg got better as the miles went by and now I am consistently above 20mpg. Comfortable truck for the drive, ride was good, personally I find the TRD Sport seats really comfortable.

Having had a FJ previously I notice the Tacoma suffers the same " lazy" auto shift, sometimes on long gradual hills it changes down and then stays in the lower gear a little too long, if its on cruise its annoying if not you just take your foot of the gas a little and it changes up. Not a big deal but I had the same thing in the FJ.

Apart from that I have nothing negative about the truck, my wife and I both commented how good the ride was and how little road noise there was.

Canmore, Ablerta, Canada lol. I always find it funny that in North America people add the country. Houston, Texas, USA lol.

If we Canadians don't they get confused about this new state "Ontario" that I'm from.

I'll even say "Ottawa Ontario" and they say "Wheres that? Kentucky?" ... Really dude? Don't know the Capital of your closest ally?
