Has anyone ever installed a spacer on the lower control arm where it bolts to the spendle? It seems that it would help with the upper control arm angle after lrveling kit

Wouldn't that just lower the truck?

The suspension is connected to the lower arm.

Perhaps a spacer between the connection point of the upper arm and spindle, but that doesn't seem possible to me.

There is a ball joint where the spindle meets the LCA that pivots... I dont know how one would go about putting a spacer on a pivot point. Or how that would benefit anything...

    Wouldn't achieve your desired goals.

In addition to all the other problems - it would "undo" your leveling kit lift by moving the wheel back up in the wheel well.

Only spacer we use to do this on drop suspension. To keep the lca at its right angle. With a lift and spacers, you would just put the lca at more of an angle.

I thought it would bring the uca to a more neutral position kinda like adding a longer spindle

You may find this page interesting. Scroll down to the "double wishbone suspension" diagram and description.

    http://www.*************/suspension_bible.html

To achieve what you're talking about - just changing the angle at which the UCA operates without undoing the lift by "lengthening the spindle" you'd need to put a spacer between the *TOP* of the spindle and the UCA.

EDIT - I point this out purely as an aid in describing the geometry of the suspension. In NO WAY do I think that attempting to add a spacer between the spindle and the upper control arm, where the upper ball joint attaches, would be a good idea or safe for a vehicle operated on public roads. But do whatevery ya like on a beater-rat-rod-low-speed-trail-only-rig.

Not sure what you're hoping to achieve. Thousands of lifted Tacomas drive around with the UCA extended downward with no harm done.
