I wanted to do a Grillcraft grill but I didn't want to cut the oem grill, so I bought an aftermarket one from a local shop. after I painted it and put it together. It fits but its such poor quality I took it off. Is there an aftermarket grill out there thats any good or just luck of the draw?

Most of the time, to get that clean look on a grille, you have to cut out the center section of the old one. Its not hard at all. Took me about an hour or so to put my Grillecraft upper black one in. Its not like you're gonna go back to the factory look anyway. Some Chevy's and Fords have "bolt in" grilles, but not our Tacomas. Probably not the answer you wanted to here, but thats all i got. The Grillecraft/Satoshi style looks the best IMO anyway. Good luck.

You can get them here, not cheap but you can get them color matched. I'd direct link to your color but I can't tell what color you have.
