Im an old BFG AT fan, no one else on TW is i dont think but they are an awesome tire. Got over 60k out of a set and over 40k on several sets on 3/4 ton trucks. Its what im running now and probably always will. Great on road, great off road (for an AT) and excellent in the snow.

Michelin LTX at2's is what I am getting for my next set. Still got another 20k miles to go on my stock BFG's.

I dont know about consensus but I love mine and havent had a single issue with them yet.

Great for road, dirt gravel, mud, snow.

I'm running Coopers HTP on my fiance's car and ATP's on my truck. Phenomenal tires, great performance and even better price not to mention that they look damn good as well. Thread wear is excellent so far after 5000+ miles on both vehicles. I used to buy michelin tires before and I would venture out to say that these are just as good if not little better around the corners. Definitely would recommend them. Got both sets from discounttiredirect, great deal and free shipping. Only cost me $40 to get them installed. I would suggest getting their replacement certificate for $12, especially since you'll be doing some offroading.
    Good luck on your search.
