OK, so flame kissed is an understatement.:eek::eek:

Saw this on the way home just a few minutes ago. No idea what the story is, I asked the tow truck drive but he didn't speak English and I don't speak Spanish.

    Just makes you say..."DAMN"

Definitely a 2nd gen reg cab Prerunner. Appears the engine caught fire because there is no obvious sign of collision.

Clearly a clever piece of propaganda organized by the local Chevy dealership. They bought a Tacoma, set it on fire, and then paid this tow truck driver to drive around the county.

Is it me or does it look like it might be arson? Like a molotov or something, it's burnt from the top down and less charring near the engine. Maybe the guy really pissed someone off

I had a Chevy that looked a lot like that after it was stolen and torched.

Cops said it was likely gang initiation at the time.

My theory: person was installing a radio ampliphier. Cut the 8 gauge wire on the hole they drilled in the fire wall. They connected it right to the battery. It grounded and caught the cab and engine compartment on fire.

Btw it was never on it's roof. Roof is charred but fully intact.

You got all that by looking at the truck on a tow truck trailer? You would make a hell of a fire investigator. ;) :)
