    New guy installing Bilstein 5100 adjustable all around. Is it worth the cost. Do they ride well? is it all able to bolt up to everything else being stock? and how easy is the job?

    Bw s256 turbo with 3 in glass pack dumped pre axle raptor liner bed and top rails and fenderflares and rocker panels. Hunter side steps. Plasti-dipped upper fenders and emblems. satin black spray paint here and there inside and out. 5100's set to 1.75" up front . C channel front bumper. Maxxis bighorn 255/85/16
    Rear is super easy. 2 jacks or 1 and a jack stand, and two bolts per side. I did the no spring compressor method on the front and it was also easy. Loosen lca bolts on truck (alignment spot) and undo the two on the rotor (not really rotor but close to the rotor dunno what its called) then just top bolt and bottom bolt, also takes twp jacks. There is a video on how to do it but its frowned upon on tw bc its unsafe.


    Anyway 5100 are about 50% larger than stock and a huge improvement in ride, even with OR COILS being preloaded. I went ahead and took my sway bar off while i was under there also, just a thought.

    I have bilsteins on all 4 Corners set at 1.75 in stock coils and wheeler 3 leaf HD pack in the rear. Rides great!

    got 5100 set to 1.75 in front and 5125 with 2" aal in rear. Sides good and better off road. Well worth it for the price in my opinion

    thanks for now im just trying to get a decent suspension for cheap anything i should upgrade along with the 5100s? thanks for all the input so far

    Alot of ppl get new coils up front. They say they ride much better and theyre longer so u dont have to preload it to get a lift.

    any time fog,tinted windows to 5% ,plasti dipped gun metal gray,toytec 5100's eibach coils ,led map and dome lights
    i just put 5100 at all four corners with eibach coils on the front and set the front at 0 with a 2'' aal and it rides way better

    Went with 5100's set at 1.75 with stock TRD OR coils and the single leaf wheelers 2in AAL and Old man emu N182's in the rear (as they offer about 1.2in more travel than the 5100 rears)

    Truck rides great, and has a stance like it should of from the factory.

    Agreed, every 4x4 that rolled off the lot should have had that stance from the beginning.

    How much is your rake? I got 1 inch higher from the back with 1.75 front and 2 inch aal in rear.

    I was wondering the same thing. I'm at 1.75 with the wheelers 1.5 aal in the back and I have rake.

    Yea I'm about inch and half higher in the rear with the wheeler HD 3 leaf pack.

    I know if you don't put the coils on right they will bow out and could be hitting something.
