Completely dissappointed with the lack of car seat attachments.

I am a currently certified install tech

it is not a support system. It is intended to be used by itself

You really don't even need to put your knee in it to get it properly secured. There should be some SLIGHT movement of the seat when properly installed. A single hand in the seat pushing down should do it.

More and more family people drive trucks and yes, trucks should make this little thing available and more family friendly.

In the last 2 years of installs, I have only met 1 female who had to use her knee to get it secure enough. Most everyone else I've dealt with has been able to once shown how. It does depend on the vehicle and seat, but more often than not it's actually able to be done properly by most people

I'm not sure...when we went through certification, this is what they stressed. I believe it has to do with testing of the car seats...the manufacture of the seat tests on each independently, not both together.

But what the point I'm trying to make is...use either or. Now, my wife uses the anchors in her Sienna....I use seatbelts in my 4Runner and Tacoma...just easier for me I suppose.

My father-in-law's 2006 F350 crew cab has no latch system in the rear seats, and IIRC, no top tether anchors either, I suspect it has an exemption due to its GVW class. I found it pathetic that a truck costing close to $60K when new didn't have such a safety / convenience feature.

I see 2 different. Latches , one is at the headrest and one is on the bottom neither will work for my new car seat . So I just have the belt running through the seat attachment . Also it would be nice to be able to have the car seat sit in the middle console in the back to access baby.. Like in our Subaru.

The LATCH system is very standardized. I would be very surprised if it wasn't compatible with your car seat.
