Check your upper cannifler pin lubrication shaft assembly. They are notorious for making a good cv boot look bad.:D

If your boot isn't torn, check to see if the clamp on the end of the boot has become loose. I had a similar problem recently where the factory clamp had loosened and grease was spilling out from there.

Are you lifted at all? If you are, the greater angle on the cv shaft caused by the lift can put more stress on the cv boot as well as the clamps so this is something to watch out for.

See posts by 06HAOLE who modified his front end and can't get the boots to seal no matter what.

The boot went bad probably a small tear somewhere on it or at the the actual boot bands. I had a similar issue with mine. Redid the boots and haven't had an issue ever since. Do not get an aftermarket. Redo the boot and retain the factory CV at all costs. They are better, and stronger.
