Well where I woke at Toyota I get a discount on Lexus too so with the discount if I get rid of it il actually still come out ahead because of the discount but I leave for the Beach nxt week so I figure once I get back from it il get rid of it and get another Taco. Then it will be back to wheels tires lifts light bars and all the fun stuff for a truck lol

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
Swap the seats, first. No one will notice.

Not totally related, but when I traded in my first DC Tundra (which was traded for my Taco I had) I test drove the Lexus GS 350 F-Sport....ALMOST pulled the trigger on it, as I was missing the low to the ground speed.....thankfully, I had the sense to remember the CM Tundra had more interior room, (which is what we need/wanted)and I can take it up the hills/mountains where the Lexus I would not want to....anywho, traded in my modded DC Tundra, for a new CM limited Tundra and am enjoying it daily!

I like the Tundras. I was kinda iffy about the new front ends on them but it's starting to wear on me ESP once I seen some of them lifted and stuff. Still prolly go back to magnetic gray double cab tacoma

I did the same thing, sold my 11 double cab trd sport prerunner I had for just over 2 years. I bought a brand new 2014 mustang gt. Put and exhaust on it the first week I had it, loved the hell out it. Then about a month or 2 later I started missing the truck. Cars are fun for the weekends or every now and then but for a day to day ride I'm just to much of a truck person. Within 3 months I was in a 2014 double cab trd off road 4x4. Lost 2-3k on the whole ordeal but still had some money to put down on the new truck since I had so much equity in my first taco when I traded it. Lesson learned.

This is what I gave up in January for my truck. Good LORD do I miss that car every day!!
I'm keeping the truck, of course, but I will have another fast car. You'd think at almost 45 I'd have had my fill of going fast. Nope.

Yeah, I gave up this after 8 months because I too, am too much of a tuck guy. In spite of thoroughly enjoying every minute of the WRX.

Then my wife got this for me, shortly after we got married in 2007. It was my childhood dream car, that truly came to life (I was 28 years old at the time) of course I loved it, but got the itch to sell it in favor of yet another truck :( If there was ever one CAR that I have owned, that I wish I wouldn't have let get away, it would have been that Carrera.

I did something similar. I had a 2011 WRX that I bought brand new and modified a little. I loved that litte car but I really missed sitting high in a truck. So I got my Taco. After it's paid off I plan to get an STi or a M3 so I can enjoy the best of both worlds. Although all my options of drivers will get bad gas mileage haha.

Also, I did enter AutoTrader's contest to win the Kia Soul (The OAC contest as it's called). In the unlikely chance that I win, I'll probably keep the Kia as a daily driver and use the truck on the days I want to have fun

In the end I came out with a truck more like what I wanted in the first place. My last truck was a black prerunner and I really wanted a silver 4x4 so I made sure I got it exactly the way I wanted it this time around lol I am glad to have finally cured that sport car fever I used to get from time to time. I'm keeping this truck forever.

I have some basic rules for vehicle purchases: spend not more then 35k, need to be comfortable with the mpg it gets before I buy, pay it cash.
Prevented me from making those costly mistakes...
