Does my 2013 trd offroad need limited slip additive

    I have a 2013 4x4 Tacoma 4x4 trd off road with the e locker my dealership says I need to add limited slip additive but I read that you don't :notsure: so if any one can clarify or post what TIS says that would be great thanks guys.

    the limited slip is computer brake controlled at each rear wheel,
    not clutch controlled inside the diff

    end result is essentially exactly the same...if one wheel slips more than the other past
    a specific threshold, torque is sent to the other wheel. yours does it by braking the
    faster wheel, forcing torque to the other wheel via the open diff


    all you gotta do is use standard differential or gear lube of the correct specification,
    and use the e-locker once in a while to keep it nice and loose.

    brand new e-lockers, or ones never, ever used... sometimes become fussy to engage
