Installed the rear differential breather mod. Bought the union and breather from the Toyota dealer. Went with 6 feet of fuel hose purchased at Pep Boys, but probably used around 4 and a half. I used one of the original drain holes in the bottom of the bed storage compartment and just drilled it larger rather than drilling a new hole.

Take the diff drop off. I'm not running one and no vibes. It doesn't do much anyway. The rear block is going to eat your springs to death in short time. Mine were toast in only a month or so. Get a set of OME dakars for2.5-3 inch lift in rear. They ride awesome for me. Get the constant load ONLY if you have a tool box or carry a couple hundred pounds all the time. Bout $500.

Your diff breather using the original valve is 100% pointless. The reason why you get the other breather is so that the diff can breathe in and out.

All you have to do to turn the factory rear breather into a real breather is pop the top off of it and toss the rubber diaphragm out. It takes all of 30 seconds.

Good info. Guess you have to learn along the way... Thanks, going to change it out with the new one.

truck looks great, lift and wheels/tires really make it. If you havnt already, I would suggest moving the lightbars off the grille, but that's just my personal opinion! They look out of place up there on the outside of the grille.

Yeah, I removed them a while ago. Definitely cleans up the look. I was just eager to do some mods to the ol' girl.

I think wheelers has them. I got them from my local offroad shop. That's cheaper so you don't have to pay shipping.

truck looks great. don't listen to some of the snobs around here wanting to tell you how to spend your money. nothing wrong with 1" blocks at all. 4" blocks and you may have problems with axle wrap.

    +1.

Also, if you've already installed the diff drop, no point spending the effort to remove it. The only reason why people say not to install them is because ONE guy had a very bad experience a long time ago and told everyone that diff drops are the devil. Everyone seemed to jump on the band wagon and group think prevailed...

Group think is very much alive and well on TW and as soon as you go outside the box, be prepared to hear about it.

A flame suit is recommended! hahah

Definitely not going to remove the diff drop. I am thinking of getting the OME leafs though. The 4wheelParts here has them for the same price as online at Wheelers and without the shipping. I replaced the breather with the new one today.

The way you had it with the original breather wasn't 100% pointless as someone else said. While it may not have been as optimal as a two-way breather, re-locating it away from water is the most important part.

Did a little fender and mud flap trimming today. I was still getting a bit of rub when the suspension compresses and the wheel is turned. Hope this does the trick.

FYI dakars are pretty damn stiff.... unless they changed, my buddy ran his even with one overload out he hated them.... went with the all pro standard pack and is much happier now.

Here's a how-to video I made on installing the Old Man EMU CS047R leaf packs on my 2013 DCSB. Finished it yesterday. Probably could have shaved a lot of time off of the install if I wasn't making a video.
