I just left my local Toyota dealer and asked how much the rail system was for my 08 and they said they couldn't find anything in their system and for me to check some aftermarket dealer for something. I called another dealer about 30 minutes away and they said that I would have to order the whole truck bed to get it. What?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

I was thinking about calling Jorge at camelback Toyota just to see if he can get them. I didn't think the junkyard would have any tacomas. Might be worth a shot though

    I'd try this option first.

Yeah I couldn't find a dealer that sold the rails either. Dallas Toyota tried for a few days to find them and couldn't. Either find a junkyard with them or go the other route and put aircraft type rails in it.

Its an 08'? The only yards that wont have this sytem may be in Australia where they sell the Hilux instead. Even if a long bed you can cut it down. Should get the whole thing for approx $50 if my local yard.

What do you know. I never got an email from the guy at camelback. I'm not sure if he didn't understand my email address or if he hasn't had time or what. Thanks ^^ for the part numbers. Do you have any idea on pricing. Also should the dealer be able to look up these part numbers and get it for me? Still thinking of calling some junkyards tomorrow though too

It looks like it doesn't pop up on all the Toyota dealership websites...only a few. But when it does, the prices range between $30 and $45 each.

The part numbers look like genuine Toyota numbers. I'd give it a crack by calling a few local dealerships to see what they can do for you. Good luck with your search!

I kno if you check ebay you can usually find some wrecked tacomas where the junk yards sell individual parts. Might be a way to find in. Ill see if I can find anything

What years should I ask for when calling a junkyard? I know the years I have is 05-11 but do the 12's and up have the same rails? I don't think they changed the beds since 05

I think you shld be ok with any 05+ but if it were me, I would stay with 05-11 just to be safe.
