The little things that Toyota left off the Tacoma to save a few pennies..(lighted cup holders, locking fuel door to name a few) is beyond me but what do I know. This little trick did help me a little bit though. Not sure if anyone else has posted something similar. Just simple fluorescent acrylic paint rubbed into the recessed parts of the ignition ring. About 5 coats. Let the hitting the hole in the dark jokes begin.

X2. Wonder if you could do the "PUSH" also? May not work with the texture though.

I like your straw supply. An empty pistol holster is a sad holster, BTW.

    Looks good :)

You just solved a problem that I didn't know existed. I've never even looked at my ignition switch?

    Night pictures?

Did you rub the paint in with a Q-tip or something?

This used to be a huge problem for me, until I started reaching for it in the dark long enough that it's now become muscle memory and it's location on the column is basically etched into my brain. Lol. I'll still screw up every here and there and miss though.

Yes, just used a small model airplane brush. Did light coats then just wiped around the ring with a dry finger. Let dry bout a half hour and repeated.

Great idea. I might try this with some luminescent watch paint. Figure sitting in the sun all day should charge it enough to glow all night long.

I originally thought of something like that or maybe some Glow-On paint for gun sights that I had laying around but wasn't sure if it would wipe cleanly off the plastic. Acrylic is far from the best paint on plastic but I knew it would wipe clean. Please let me know how the watch paint works for you?
