13 TRD Sport DCSB Supercharged 6Spd....

I just test drove the above truck...wow, that SC was a nice addition!! 22k miles, everything felt brand new, tight, ect. Much better than my 05 w/ 199k. I got my truck appraised to see what they would offer....$8500 & it is not in great shape...it's a very tempting offer!!

the supercharger itself will NOT affect your MPG, I promise.

Your right foot is in control.

I still get 18-21 MPG having fun and driving it hard...........very hard.

Actually by the end of the day it was at 30k w/ 8500 for my 05

 

thats a good deal i got my 2010 taco with the s.c with 9230miles on it for like 29

 

30k doesn't sound like a bad deal, I'd say go for it if you're looking for a new truck.

How much quicker is the super charged 6 speed over the regular 6 speed? I have a '08 6speed sport and starting to look for a new truck. Just wondering if its wroth it or not.

Do it, do it, do it!! I'd boost, but it just isn't practical for me. Making a truck go fast, when it handles like a truck... doesn't make any sense to me. If I want to go fast, I'll get another sports car.

 

I just like being able to pass, merge, and assault grades much easier.

its not all about fast, your missing the torque factor which is good for towing/hauling/passing/merging.

besides, the truck wont be any faster, the top speed remains untouched.... its just "quicker" and "safer"

 

I get that. I ain't mad at you, bro. I enjoy the speed and torque factor, trust me. Had a G37S with KW V3 coilovers and a few other goodies. Miss it every day. Hard to take to the lake, though...

 

Hands down my favorite color for the Tacoma and it's boosted. I'd get it at that price... that's a steal IMO.
