A follow up to my previous post, here's a video where you can hear the whining when I press the a/c button.

Compressor going bad or what? Everyone's thoughts and opinions are greatly appreciated.

Weathertech floor liners moded to hold OEM floor mats, weathertech vent visors, Toyota bed mat, LEER 100XL cap, hood gasket mod to stop whistling.
I'm betting on a compressor failing.

The sound in the video is not very loud on my laptop. If I were to guess, I'd say front most bearing on the compressor.

    - Any chance you can loosen the belt to see if the pitch changes??
    - Also do you have a mechanics stethoscope?
    - Possible belt noise?
    - Possible that the clutch when engaged is slipping ??
