    Hi all,

Today was a good day. First time out on the trail with my new KTM 500exc. The Tacoma did it's job like a champ too. No falls, no breakage and no mechanical issues. These bikes live up to the hype. Found myself giggling like an idiot....

Well thanks! I'm happy with that bruteforce rear bumper. Nice little features are reuse of the lic plate lights and very slick hideaway hitch receiver behind the lic. Plate. Sliders are bolt on shrockworks and those have been solid too....

Nice bike thought about getting rid of my 300 xc and trying out a 350 xcf but I think I'll just keep the 300 a little more longer.

I really dig those bikes. I have a 990 adventure but would love to add a smaller dirt scooter to the stable.

Oh my! Look at that jump and that riding area. Nothing close to that in Mi. I'm lucky to uncork that 500 a little in 3rd gear once and while before I risk hitting a tree. I really struggled with the 350 vs. 500 but I'm pleased I went with the 500. Mostly, because it is so unstressed at 65+mph on the road. I went 65 to 85 wfo today and was shocked at how it pulled on the top end while still running decent singletrack gearing. It's fun, I just wish I had the youth/skill/riding area to run it to it's potential...

The 500 is a great do everything bike. As far as plated bikes go it's pretty much the best. My 350xcf is high strung and requires being ridden hard. Unfortunately here in CA they are closing our riding areas. The place in the pictures has been closed for 4 years for BS political reasons. We just go ride it anyways since they don't really patrol the area.

hey this is possibly the two stupidest questions, but I'm going to ask anyway... XC-f 500 is longer (or same) than an xc-f 350 right? Is your bed a long bed? Trying to determine if a xc-f 350 will fit in my tacoma short bed

Wow, you posted in a thread that’s 8 years old. All the full size KTMs are the same size. Well working a fraction of an inch.
