on a roadtrip? I'm talking single road-trip, could have multiple stops though

I wanna go big this fall, or next spring...just gotta decide where to go

I drove from the Bay Area, CA to Zion Canyon, Bryce Canyon and Antelope Canyon this Spring. That's the furthest so far, but I've only had the truck 8 months.

Feel free to post truck/roadtrip pics too if you have em!

Video of the Camp Bird Mine Trial. We had to turn around on a sketchy portion of the trail due to a large ice sheet blocking the next corner. That corner was about 6-7' wide with about a 500' drop off.

I drove from Sacramento to Asheville, NC right after getting married. Long haul. On our way home we went from Asheville to Omaha, NE in one day. Rested, then went from Omaha to Salt Lake City. Then the next morning back to sac. There's a lot of country out there!

    Not enough...
It's only 11 days old, so not too far. But i regularly go to 600-800-1000 mile trips. Snowboarding, Grand Canyon, SF, etc. Looking forward to my first trip in the Tacoma

Oh, about 70 miles down to San Diego. Not looking to go on a road trip in a gas hog at $4 a gallon, personally.

Drove from Oklahoma to British Columbia and back to bear hunt last fall. In November I'll be leaving from here to Labrador for a caribou hunt.

Considering doing the Trans America Trail in the tacoma in the spring if I can get another truck or two interested. That'll probably total more miles than than my hunting trips.

Ohio to Nampa, Idaho; and back, via SLC, Yellowstone, Tetons.

Was about 4,500 miles in a very fast 5 days, in a 2004 Tacoma X Cab. Those uncomfortable buckets about destroyed my ass. I was in them probably 95% of the time - I slept in the truck.

I am looking forward to doing some longer camping trips in the 'new' 2012, although most of my multi day travels are on a motorcycle.

Huh, guys do that in trucks? I know that's a big motorcycle route but I guess I never really thought about doing it in a 4 wheeler. No reason you couldn't, I guess; it's all public roads, at least in the east.
