TRD Bilstein and Bilstein 5100

I would love to know the difference between these types of shocks. Could somone enlighten me. I am about to get my TSB done and I know toyota will not do my shocks but will do my leaf springs so I am shopping and will have it all done at once.

The guy from downsouthmotors gives us a deal on these shocks.

I ordered mine Sunday and they were delivered on Tuesday. If you live in San Clemente, they ship UPS ground, so you will get them the next day.

 

The Toyota Bilsteins are a a fleet shock- They are about 1/2 the diameter of the 5100s. The 5100s also all for adjustable front preload. They are valved a bit better and in general a better quality of shock.

And totally check out DSM with that link from the post above....It's worth it.

How is the valving different bitween the two shocks? Are the 5100's firmer or softer than the stock TRD's?
