Hey...Hey...Hey, what the hell is going on here? Oxian's location says TX but it says he is in the Overseas division of the Carolina Alliance! That doesn't compute. :D

He's not a real Texan. A real Texan would never join the alliance. He was just stationed in San Antonio before going overseas. It's sad to say, but there are people that live in the <hat-off>great state of Texas<hat-on> that aren't Texans. I can't explain why, but I suspect it's a yet-unnamed mental illness.

A real Texan would understand why I was disappointed that my son wasn't born two days earlier. His birthday is March 4th. My daughter's birthday is May 5th. Bonus points to anyone who can explain why.

I knew one of you Texans would try to invalidate his Texanyness just because he joined the Alliance. He said his little lady lives in Texas so that is his home now. You just cant deal with the fact that a Texan would rather be associated with the great Carolinas than Texas. Fact is, someone who lives in Texas would rather be associated with a different state... and its eating you alive :)

Dude, dont change your location, keep it as Texas, it'll drive them dirty texans crazy!

I can fully understand someone falling for one of our lovely Texan ladies. But that doesn't immediately make them a Texan -- just someone with good taste in women. Texan is a frame of mind, not an address.

AHA! So, by your own definition Oxian is not a Texan.

Just give up. You can't outsmart me.

Dude that's right, we have Parris Island! We will totally kick your ass! :fenforcer:

Come to think of it, here in Charleston alone we have some serious airbases and a Navy depot. Border patrol training and the Nuclear submarine officers program.

Dude, Texas sucks. Steers and queers man steers and queers.

But maybe sawdust is right...maybe I am just being pulled to the dark side. I do agree with his truck color and have the same year build. Plus he seems like a nice guy and I laugh at most of his posts...It's pissing me off!

(Hey sawdust...truce for a second: Why the name "Sawdust" anyway?)

    Okay, war back on!

In Atlanta, silver is what I see the most of. Occassionally I see someone with a black one. I've seen one impulse red.

Texas can match that and more. navy depot Corpus Christi, naval air station Kingsville, an actual border to patrol, plus there's around 5 different army and air force bases in San Antonio alone. There's some sort of training base around Temple I believe. I could go on, but would require some googling. Don't forget we also have hot women and unweak threats.

Yeah, I have that effect on people :humble: Don't forget the month. Our trucks were built in the same month. They're like twin brothers. If you don't cease this hostility, your truck's going to start acting up on you. Think of the warm fuzzy feeling you'd have if you moved out here and reunited these twins separated at birth.

My other hobby that shares garage space with my Tacoma is woodworking. My cousin (not ND, another one) once characterized it as "making sawdust and noise" plus he'd recently joked about having his mid-life crisis and wanting either a red sports car or a mistress and I laughed that my Radiant Red Tacoma is my compromise. That came to mind when I was signing up and the rest, they say, is history. If I'd known at the time how good I'd be at hijacking threads I may have picked something different like threadbandit.

PS: Dang, I just realized I should have put this on my new member thread to help bump up the post count!

I was really irritated that I couldn't get the speedway blue on the packaging I wanted.

I wanted the speedway blue b/c it is the same color (almost exactly) used by my beloved Carolina Panthers.

I settled with the Impulse Red though it was a tough call b/t it and the Indigo Ink

You're just still in the denial phase of post-traumatic stress. Don't worry, acceptance will come. Before you know it, you'll be inviting me to the family reunion.
