I read that silver streak mica was the most popular color for the Tacoma. Curious if in other regions of the country, that is true as it is in the northeast.

90% of the Taco's I see on the road are Black, Silver, or Red (mostly silver). I agree jhodge, I don't think I have ever seen a desert sand Taco...

Indigo ink. I was going to get the silver, but my brother bought a silver one a week before I bought mine. Im happy, cause I really couldnt make up my mind between silver, indigo or white. Once I saw the indigo sitting in the lot I was sold. Im sure it would have been the same for the white if there was one sitting there.

On a side note: Viet2100: how do you like your URD TCAI. I have one coming any day, and im all stressed about the fact that its as exposed as it is. Have you had any problems?

Silver Streak Mica is gonna kill on this one. I discussed this with the dealer when I bought my truck (Radiant Red), she said the SS mica outdid all the other colors 3 to 1 minimum.

I love my red! It was the only choice as far as I was concerned. :bananadance:

Black and lovin it! When i told the dealer what i wanted and in black he said they didnt have a black truck on the lot but they had about 16 silver taco's and about 4 of them fit my description except for the color. Its definately the easiest to find

Impulse Red Pearl - Same reason as GTIVR6, it was an impulse buy. Best one I have ever made!

Well, my Radiant Red was an impulse buy too. I might have preferred the Impulse Red, but it's not available in the off-road package. I've had white and grey trucks before. The visibility is better with a bolder color. We had heavy fog this morning and I felt good in RR with the fog lights on.

Indigo Ink, silver was my second choice but since I had to special order my truck I went with my first choice.

The Indigo Ink is a sweet color! That was my first choice, then Black, then Impulse Red, then Silver. I just got what they had. :)

I find that sliver mica doesnt show scratches as much as the darker colors. White would be my second choice as far as hiding scratches.

Does Desert Sand actually exist? On other toyota models, it does as I have seen quite a few at the dealership here. I have never seen that color on a tacoma. Silver seems to be the most popular color with all car makers.
my vitamin pills are called Silver Centrum, and now even my generation is called Silver baby boomers.

The Desert Sand Mica does exist. My boss had one, and North Park Toyota of Boerne has one on their lot right now. It is a DC V6, and I want it. Problem is that they are asking more than what my truck is worth. :(

I can't go any further into debit. :pout:

So true, so true, the only reason I was thinking about silver is because like sunrunner said it doesn't show dirt or scratches as much. But when I saw the indigo there was no going back.
