Installed billys at 1.75 on my old tacoma no issues. Installed toytec 3 inch on my new tacoma no issues. Then replaced the toytec lift with Icons still no issues. if you avoid spacers and drop brackets and get a well known lift the chances of having issues is low.

20% tint on the front windows. 8-15-13 Installed Icons front and rear with Dakars. 2012 4Runner wheels with 275/70/17 BFG T/A KO2's. Weather Tech mats front and back. Leer shell with Leer Locker and roof racks.
I too have the Icon with Dakars and have had no issues at all. But I did have some issues with the ABS and VSC which I hadn't even read about or looked into proir to the lift. After I experienced it I looked it up here and I solved it with the bypass switch as shown in another thread.

+1. OEM warranty. If anything breaks, they can't tell me to pound sand "because lift".

If something does break good luck getting Toyota to repair it.
Baja kit is way over priced for what you get IMO.

*Everything* OEM is overpriced. I got the whole Baja truck, not just Baja suspension kit. So I got the suspension, exhaust, nice rims and a nice little TRD logo on the tailgate ;)

 Then you have some people whom follow all the correct instructions and torque guides and still have vibes.

Also, I know plenty of people who wheel (not just drive) their truck with 3" of lift and stock UCAs without issues.

What is a good way to decrease the CV if there is a problem?

Define problem. If you install a lift and the fins of the CVs are touching just do the boot clamp mod, been on all my 2nd gens without issues. If you have really extreme angles (greater than 20 degrees) you need less preload.

I think there's a better chance Toyota will fix something like a cv boot or even a axle under warrenty on a Baja over a tacoma with a aftermarket lift.

There is 2 questions in the quote. The answer to the first I was implying myself, the answer to the second can easily be found looking through build threads but if you want specific users lmk. I personally have wheeled with stock UCAs and 3" of lift without issue, you lose (minimal) downtravel, big deal, and I still got 2.5 degrees of caster.

If you want to do it right and only do it once, then yes. Do the research and plan on buying a quality lift package

Will installing UCA like Total Chaos help reduce the increased CV joint angle or are they just to help for the alignment?

no, only help with alignment as well as more range of motion.

Only way to "reduce" cv angle is to do a diff drop which really doesnt reduce it all the much, or go Long travel and have everything at a lower angle.
