Own a 2014 access cab and was wondering if Toyota pre wired these trucks for different options it was not built with. Looking to see if seats are pre wired .
I owned a Camry which was pre wired for most stuff. I installed a factory in color spoiler, a alarm system and a 10 disc player with relative ease. Everything was plug and put no splices. Made job simple. This was in 1993 and I know things change. Thanks for any help. I would then be looking for probably look to buy aftermarket but would not rule out used or take outs if available.

I can't vouch for the 2014 but I put some same era Tacoma bucket seats in my 2008 bench seat standard cab and the female half of the seat belt buckle on the buckets was different and the wire harness is completely different (2 female plug ends vs male and female)

The seats bolted up fine after cutting the carpet to expose center holes but I think when I finally get some time I will be swapping the sensors and the complete harness from the bench I will be fine.

    Mine didn't have seat airbags.

Thanks never thought about that. CD God thanks also for your response. I am really going to look into seat change as I am finding seats less comfortable as time goes on. Maybe a grave yard x change if they are electrically compatible.

I've got a 2014 TRD OR and I don't think my seats have airbags. My Tundra had little tags on the seats that said SRS AIRBAG or something. My Taco does not have this, though it does have the leather upgrade... so maybe the tags were removed... or the airbags are just sealed off with leather now, lol
