Stock suspension on my stock 2014 double cab short bed TRD off road 4x4 seems to be squeaking a ton. Every time I get in or out or push down on the bed or something it's starts. Only 800 miles on the truck? Rides fine, just here it entering and exiting vehicle mostly. This something I need to worry about or have dear look at? Or is it the suspension settling in and not an issue? Thanks a bunch.

    Rear leafs, fairly common issue.

Edit: It's only annoying, it doesn't affect driveability of the truck or safety features.

Mine did this too until I spread a thin layer of marine grease between the leaves and the bushings.

Unacceptable for a young truck to sound like a 40yr old truck

Yes quite annoying. Intentions of lifting truck in very near future so leafs will be replaced then anyway, just wanted to make sure I was not damaging something by driving as is until lift is purchased.

FWIW I've run 3 or 4 sets of OEM leafs, 2 sets of Dakars and now running 4x4 iron man leafs... every single pack squeaked. When it rained it went away for a couple of weeks but came back. The grease the Brock mentioned will help I would just apply it every oil change or so, there is also a rubber bike tire shim you could try. Or just take it to the dealer and tell them to fix their terrible leafs for you :)

Hows the iron man working out for you, was considering one of their lift kits...... Quote from install shop:

Check out Ironman Lifts. We could do this lift, including rear shocks, front shocks, front leaf springs, rear leaf springs, u-bolts, bushings, non-greasable pins, driveshaft spacer and 15mm spacers for approx. $2300

Mine has squeaked a few times too (2010, 65,000 miles now) and when I have the oil change done every 4,000 miles +/- and it was squeaking, I just asked them to take care of it, and whatever grease they apply to the leaf springs or bushings works for a long time.

They are ok, that's it just ok. I'd go full OME front to back, the dakars never let me down and I only got these because they were practically free. That price is really steep. You should make a mod meet thread in your region and have some folks help you install it, shouldn't take more than a few hours with a good set of extra hands. Good luck bud.

Weathertech floor liners moded to hold OEM floor mats, weathertech vent visors, Toyota bed mat, LEER 100XL cap, hood gasket mod to stop whistling.
My 2006 did that, sounded like an old school bus. There is a TSB that addresses this, take it back to the dealer.

You don't have front leafs..and with the price of the lift you are paying roughly 1200 in labor.

I'm running the iron man lift on an access cab..pretty stiff at first but it does soften up. My leafs also squeak.

My stock setup was squeaking by 5k miles. Had the latest tsb performed (new leaf pack) and progressive aal put on shortly after. I put some bearing grease on the leaf pads when I installed the aal. 10k since and still no squeaks. My guess is they will start again once winter comes along but we shall see.
