Door grips on driver and passenger front doors

    Has anyone ever replaced their grips for either door? I am needing to and was wondering if they can be replaced without having to take the door trim away from the door? I think hey are held in place by a screw.

    Remove the round rubber gasket/cap with a small screwdriver or putty knief ... plastic is best ... using a torx head ... I forget what size ... back off screw ... do not worry ... it will not drop out/off ... the "lock" part will come away ... pull the handle out and off ... when you replace it just ensure the rubber gasket under the handle is smooth and not pinching.
