Hello All. I have been lurking around TW for some time, reading the huge amount of awesome information within the site, and decided to join. I've got a Reg. Cab Prerunner 5speed which is in need of a new master and slave clutch cylinder. After ordering, such is my nature, that I decided to take them both apart to see how they tick. I thought I would make my first post with some pics of the anatomy, just in case anyone was curious as to what is inside these:

I would not take apart the new parts for your truck. Small parts and springs can fly across the room and not be found. The seals in those units are really easy to nick and that would make them useless. What I always do when I get curious is take apart the old parts after you replace them. That way if a part gets lost or you can't put it back together easily you can just throw it away.
