So I have been reading and researching about suspension and tires on here for over 3 months now and all the info is starting to jumble together in my brain. I think that I have gotten most of it figured out except.....

If you want to run 33's on a 2-3 inch suspension lift and you replace the upper control arms do you still need to run wheel spacers if you want to keep your stock 16" wheels?

As far as I know yes. You will be rubbing the UCA's without spacers on stock wheels. A 1.25 spacer will fix that.

I'm running 33's on a 3" OME lift and I will only rub the UCA's when at almost full droop. I do rub the LCA at full lock on the passenger side. I have the stock 16" wheels.
