My license plate arrived today. Since there are no bottom holes in the rear bumper (2014 Tacoma), the plate sticks out at the bottom (does not fit flush with the bumper). Are there any frames that can be used to get a flush mount.

    I added a bolt once...
Mounts with two holes...my 06' and 14' were/are both this way.
I put a piece of closed cell foam behind the bottom back (backpack sleeping pad foam). Keeps it from rattling...

I also took out the cheap hex nuts screwed into plastic and used M6x1.0 (1.25" long) auto body bolt with nylock nuts (lowes).

I have a frame on mine but I don't believe it's touching at the bottom anyway. I think if you got it closer it would rattle unless secured with screws.

I used the two screws on the top and used a strip of double sided tape along the bottom, nice and flush with zero rattle... Plate is going nowhere, might even bend it up if you just tried to rip it off of there.

2 screws and 3M tape is straight up ghetto for a 30k truck imo.

I just bent my plate a bit so it goes flush with the bumper. Took 30 seconds.

I used hex socket button head cap screws on the top and shorter ones on the bottoms with a nyloc nuts on the back. Used the dealers frame painted with several coats of black Krylon. Looks good and it's cheap. Using the hex heads will help keep tags from being stolen.

How is your plate secured? With two screws on the top, like every other second gen Tacoma ever made? I just fastened the bottom to the bumper with something you wouldn't see or know was there unless you were told...
